X-Air G1 is designed for testing Access Points (APs), home gateways, and WLAN systems (Wi-Fi coverage quality assessment). It emulates real multi-clients environments and authentic Layer 4–7 application traffic to perform comprehensive testing on the basic performance, functionality, and stability of Wi-Fi networks.
The X-Air G1 test system includes both WLAN test modules and Ethernet test modules: The WLAN test module supports 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz frequency bands, and is compatible with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards. The WLAN interface connects to the Access Point (AP) via SMA coaxial cables (with attenuators) or through OTA (Over-The-Air) methods. The Ethernet test module supports interface speeds of 100/1000/2500 Mbps.
The X-Air G1 supports maximum accessed clients and stateful traffic throughput test, providing accurate and realistic performance metrics for the device or system under test.
- The WLAN test module supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards and supports 2x2 MIMO;
- The WLAN test module supports channel bandwidths of 20MHz, 40MHz, 80MHz, 160MHz, and 320MHz;
- Support generating stateful traffic for testing on each real client;
- Each client on the WLAN test module is independent, and the traffic generated by each client can be individually controlled;
- The WLAN packet capture module supports concurrent capture of packets on multiple channels;
- The Ethernet test module supports two ports, and each port (RJ45) supports speeds of 100/1000/2500 Mbps.
